Right next to the lake is the Lord Parshuram Temple.
Fishes in another smaller lake outside the temple.
With the zoo done, we headed back to our hotel. Had some chaat on the way from a local shop, withdrew some money from the ATM and before sunset, we were back at the hotel. In the garden outside the hotel, I noticed a tap and a long pipe which they were using to water the plants. Thar was by now completely covered in dust and even the glasses were all dirty so we decided to give the poor thing a little wash after what we had put her through.
Some shots on our way back.
Ekant guest house with Thar parked where we washed it.
We ordered some plain daal chawal for the caretaker to cook for us. Overall, I really enjoyed our brief stay at this hotel and would recommend it to everyone. Setting is good, rooms were quite large and good, food was simple but delicious and the owner, an elderly, was quite the gentleman.
Some shots taken from the hotel before we went to sleep.
Day 6 - Renuka Ji to Delhi
There really isn't much to write about our last day. We got up early to witness yet another amazing surprise.
After having a cup of tea, we started on our way back and reached Ambala at around 10 AM. Some shots from our way back.
We reached Karnal by noon, stopped at Haveli for lunch and from there it was a straight drive back home. With no break in between, we reached Delhi and were both home by 4 PM.
Thanks everyone for reading.
