Vargis Bhai, what I understand from the order is that camps and the other structures which are illegally setup without permission will be removed under this order. So, I do not think all camps will be removed unless all are illegal.

Yes please clarify about all the charges and everything. Also ask him about the security money.

You can also travel from Manali to Leh by Bus, rent a bike in Ladakh, and then catch a bus from Leh to Srinagar.

Jitender Bhai as far as I know, everything is getting removed. Even Indian army was asked to move back their establishment a little.

Bhai I have asked him. You were right. They asked 10000 for dropping off at Srinagar.
I also asked about the bike being allowed in Leh. He said that he has JK registration would not have any problems and he has JK bikes.
Also Manali to Leh is a one day bus ride which I wanted to avoid. I thought I could take the bike and see around instead of going in a bus.
If going in bus is faster I will take that. Also can you suggest some renting options at Leh if possible. I want to contact them and get things ready before I go there.

The Delhi to Leh bus seems very uncomfortable and I thought I would rather avoid it.Reference

My main aim is to reach Leh and I don't care whether its through Srinagar or Manali bhai. But Delhi to Srinagar there's no direct bus. Is there any that I am not able to find? Or is the only way possible is taking a train ride to Katra and then proceeding from Katra to Srinagar by bus, then going to Leh again by bus which seems to be a two day journey by your post, which makes the total travel time almost 4 days(with layovers).

    So my public options are:
    1) Day 1:Delhi to Srinagar(Bus. Can I book through phone or ask anyone about ticket availability and timing)
    Day 2:Srinagar to Leh

2)Day 1-Delhi to Katra (Anyway to see jksrtc schedule?)
Day 2-Katra to Srinagar(Not seeing any in the internet, but available in jksrtc)
    Day 3- Srinagar to Leh

    3)Day 1-Delhi-Manali
Day 2-Manali to Leh(Very uncomfortable and not preferred. Okay if more comfortable buses are available now)

Please suggest any other shorter time for Delhi to Leh??
Also for leaving from Leh to Delhi what's the shortest time possible in september 30 to October 1

    My thoughts:
    1)Day 1:Leh to Srinagar(JKSRTC)
    Day 2:Srinagar to Katra(JKSRTC)
    Day 3:katra to Delhi(IRCTC)

    2) Day 1: Leh to Srinagar
    Day 2:Srinagar to Delhi

Since you suggested that the Leh manali route may be closed, I chose this route. If its available, thats fine too

You are right. There is no direct bus from Delhi to Srinagar. I don't know any renting options in Leh Sorry. If you are more focused on Ladakh then why not directlly book fllights from and to Leh? That would avoid all the hassle and you will spend more time there.

Bhai in that case you will have to bear the journey of uncomfortable buses, there is no other way out.

Just one change Bhai. Srinagar to Leh by Bus is not one day. It is a 2 days journey.
