    Hi, I'm from Bangkok, Thailand.

I'm about planning trip to Spiti Valley around mid October next year.

As a foreigner, I have to apply the Inner Line Permit (ILP) to entering the region

I already read some articles (including yours) about procedure to apply for the ILP.

According to my roughly plan, I expected to start the trip to Spiti from Shimla so I'm thinking of apply the ILP at government center in Shimla or Reckong Peo.

I will leave Bangkok on Friday night >>> reach Delhi at Friday late night >>> catch plane from Delhi to Shimla on Saturday early morning >>> If this plan go well, I will be at Shimla on Saturday morning.

Since the government center to apply for ILP (both in Shimla and Reckong Peo) only operate on Weekday (Mon-Fri) so I have to wait for 2 more day until Monday to apply for the ILP.

I don't want to waste those 2 days just for apply the ILP.

Is it possible to contact any tour agent in Shimla (or Reckong Peo) to apply the ILP for me in advance ?
So I can get ILP in my hand once I reach Shimla on Staurday morning, don't have to wait until Monday.

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hello Pipatong,

Unfortunately No. You have to be physically present at the time when ILP is issued. These cannot really be arranged unless you are standing right in front of the signing authority.
