I'm planning to drive from Pangong Tso to Hanle, Tso Moriri on Oct 4 along with my family in our own hatchback (Diesel).
    Prepared itinerary is as follows:
    Sept 30: Reaching Leh
Oct 1: Acquiring ILP and Local sightseeing
Oct 2: Leh - Hunder (Night stay)
Oct 3: Hunder - Pangong Tso via Agham Shyok route (Night stay)
Oct 4: Pangong Tso - Hanle, Tso Moriri (Night stay)
    Oct 5: Hanle - Leh

    > How's the Agham Shyok route to reach Pangong Tso?

    > What's the best route to be taken from Pangong Tso to reach Hanle, Tso Moriri? (I don't have any idea on these two places regarding permits, places to stay, availability of fuel etc..)

    > I will be acquiring ILP on Oct 1. Can the process be done online? If offline, what's the process?

    Hi Ajay,

Recently completed road trip to Ladakh from Mumbai in my Ciaz. A few suggestions for your queries, of course do not want to supersede what Mr Vergis has said. these are the problems we faced on our route. We were four friends from Mumbai for the trip.

First of all take bare minimum luggage with you. Take sufficient amount of woolen cloths. When we visited these places there was heavy snow fall at Khardung La. and a heavy rainfall at Pangong. Nubra the climate was very pleasant.
The route you are looking from Nubra to Pangong, tough in pretty good condition and really scenic, but it has few water-passes, two of which are really bad and scary. Please follow some local vehicle while going through this route. We could see a gang of Bever on our route few kilometers before Pangong.
Diesel should not be much problem once you fill full tank in Diskit, unless your vehicle gives you less milage.
Inner line permit you can apply online, get the copies and get it stamped at Tourist Information Center which is in the Leh Market.once you reach Leh.

And for Pangong to Tso Moriri I suggest you to carry additional diesel, as once you leave Diskit till time you come back to Karu there is no fuel station you will be left with no option than to purchase in local market, which they sell at higher price and you never know about the quality.
