Yes, definitely. Your plan looks great. How are you traveling though?

Thanks brother for all the advice
I was going through your post on fuel and gas stations on routes.
My route is from Leh to partapur to turtuk to pagong tso to tso moriri via Hanle nyoma, to leh.... Besides getting in and out of leh from kargil side.
Now, given that i would have no problems wrt permits to travel on these routes and because of time constraints I don't want to fall back to leh for refilling every time... And i have CBR wit tank capacity of 13L only.
As of now I don't have a carrier on bike and I don't plan to put a carrier...
How do you suggest I should carry the petrol... (Based on your inputs in post, I think I'll have to cater for 1000-1200 km, n i am considering efficiency of 25kmpl)... I do have saddle bags and I am carrying a rucksack on pillion seat..

Also, after pagong tso to tsi moriri via Hanle would I get those dhaba or locals to buy fuel?

One suggestion though ... Before the trip, you may want to remove the lower fairing of your CBR. That may get damaged at a water crossing if the bike went too deep. Remove it, leave it at home and put back on after you return.

Bhai these days you can get fuel in Ladakh everywhere in Black, at the dhabas and small sops en route. It will be in black for Rs. 110 per liter (price last year when I was in Ladakh) but at least you won't have to carry too much fuel when you leave Leh. From Pangong and Karzok I know for sure that you will get it because I have myself bought from these two places (Hanle too as a matter of fact as per my friend who bought it from there). Based on inputs of other people, the chadar tents and dhabas on the route also keep petrol available for sale.

Yes it is doable but you won't find many people on this route.
