Day 3 : Keylong to Sarchu

Day 4 : Sarchu to Leh

Day 5 : Stay in leh, get ILP and local sightseing

3: Is it OK from Pangong Tso to Karzok via Chusul and Mahe and what is the road conditions.

4 : At that time we also need a rented a bikes from Leh apart from having a Manali rented bikes. If it is we have to change our Itenirary and go back to leh from Karzok. Any Suggestion on this?

    Hi Bakhtiyar,

Your itinerary is OK. But the biggest problem here which I think you did not consider is that Manali rented bikes won't be allowed in Ladakh. So you will

    rent bikes from Manali,
    reach Leh,
rent another set of bikes there,
    move around Ladakh
    come back to leh
    return bikes
    collect manali bikes
    reach manali

So you will actually have to add more days here. Can you extend it by 2-3 days?

Yes we wish to add 2 or 3 days but as an employee it is difficult for us.
Please you suggests us how to manage this.
Or we drop karzok which we didn't want.

You know any bike rented operators in Manali who can give us bikes in Manali and have links in Leh also, so we get some discount in Leh.

    Thanks for your support

Talk to Parvez in Manali @ 9318646559. He runs a bike rental business in Manali and may be able to guide you to someone in Leh as well.

OK I will talk to him.

Can we skip Day 3 and take only one night stay at Sarchu in between Manali to Leh.. Which gives us one extra day for our itinerary.
Is it possible for us to cover Manali to Sarchu and Sarchu to Leh in 2 days?

    Please suggest.

Yes, easily. A lot of people travel that way. Just make sure that you get an early start from Manali because you may also get stuck in the maddening traffic at Rohtang.

    Thanks for your prompt reply

Bhai in you given link for your Ladhak ILP you have written that Rs. 100 per person per day as charity towards a Red Cross society.
But in calculation your just count Rs 200 for 2 person for 5 days???

please give some advise as this confused me

    Thanks for your support

Bhai it is a one time charge, not per day. So you just pay Rs. 100 per person for any number of days.
