Sir, can I plan for a trip to Leh-Ladakh with a Kawasaki Ninja 650 cc 2017 newest model or is it necessary to go with a Royal Enfield Classic 350 cc as I am planning to buy both within this year 2017. I was having old model of bullet 350 cc but recently I had sold it and I know that RE 350 or 500 is the best and most powerful cruisers for all roads.Just I want to know about Kawasaki Ninja 650 cc as Ninja also having good engine specifications like
    1) Power - 67 bhp@ 8000 rpm
    2) Torque - 65 Nm@ 6500 rpm
    3) No. of cylinders - 2
    4) Fuel tank - 16 litres
    5) Ground clearance - 130 mm
    7) Kerb weight - 193 kgs
Is it suitable to go with a Ninja 650 cc engine bike??
Can this Ninja bike will easily handle the rides on high altitude roads and steep mounts ??
Please suggest me with your experienced advice.

    Hello Santosh Bhai,

Can Ninja handle Ladakh in terms of engine power? Answer is definitely a yes. The problem however will be of comfort in a place like Ladakh. Both motorcycles are good but Enfield will be more comfortable. The seating position of Ninja may be problem for long rides on bad roads, specially when you will be riding everyday. Second is the luggage which you can probably make out that it can be a hassle to tie all the bags around Ninja. Most important is the lower faring and engine cover. If it gets damaged, it will be a costly affair to get it fixed or replaced. Since you have both, definitely opt for an Enfield to take to Ladakh over a Ninja.

I would like to add one more thing.
You will find RE mechanics during the tour but am not sure about Kawasaki mechanics.
So there is another 1 up for RE.

Very valid point Parminder Bhai. Enfield mechanics are in plenty in Ladakh but you may not find someone agreeing to fix a Ninja.
