    Hi Vargis
I am going to Kashmir for Tarsar Marsar Trek on 21st July. It is finishing on 27th July, Friday. Then I am planning to visit Leh and places around. Below is what I planned:
27th July - Stay at Srinagar (Hotel)
28th July - Leave for Leh (through JKSRTC as me & my wife are two only, so personal taxi would be cost a little much)
29th July - Reach to Leh (Two days as bus will halt overnight at Kargil)
30th July - Leh city, Acclimitization & bike booking, near around places if time permits
31st July - Move to Pangong Tso (bike journey)
1st Aug - Return to Leh
2nd Aug - Visit Nubra Valley, Diskit, Hunder (bike journey)
3rd Aug - Return to Leh
    4th Aug - Water Rafting
5th Aug - Back to Home
    Few of my questions are:
    1. Is it a good itinerary or do I need to modify anything? (I can not extend this plan as this is maximum stretched)
    2. If I am carrying extra luggage (other than trekking bag) for days I am going to spend in Leh, would be comfortable to carry while travelling from Srinagar to Leh in bus?
    3. Is there any issue in visiting Pangong & Nubra Valley with pillion on bike?
    4. When I will be out of Leh, can I put my luggage somewhere in Leh (probably at Hotel I'll book) then would it be safe? As I would not carry all luggage on bike trip, only required things I will carry.
    5. Do I need to spare one day in last? As I am thrilled to do water rafting, otherwise I was thinking to return on 4th Aug only.

    Hi Vishal

    1. Itinerary is good. Only change I will recommend is to go to Nubra from Leh, then take the Shyok road to go directly to Pangong and return to Leh. Completing the circuit in 3 days and saving a day here.
    2. Yes luggage will be fine in the bus
    3. No issue
    4. Keep a room at the hotel and leave your luggage there. This is what I always do, never had any problem.
    5. Plan to return on 5th only. Keep a day as buffer just to be on safer side.

For #1 - There are some challenges for which I really don't have idea after reading your posts only. First is I will be travelling with no groups, only we two people and that by taking rented bike. Secondly, I would be on Shyok route exactly in first week of August. So, should I travel through this route though?

Shyok road is fine now. When you are in Nubra, ask around about the condition of the road. A lot of people travel on it these days so if possible, tag along with some other group. If the locals tell you that the road is not good or if you cannot find anyone going that way, then return to Leh.
