Spiti itinerary

    our itinerary for spiti
    We are 8 adults and 5 kids age between 7 to 12 years. Is it ok for acclimatization?

    26September: CCU to Chandigarh to Manali (night stay)
    27 September: Manali to Sissu (night stay)
    28 September: Sissu (night stay) (Keylong visit)
    29 September: Sissu to Chandratal (night stay)
    30 September: Chandratal to Kibber (night stay)
    1 October: Kibber (night stay)
    2 October: Kibber to Langza (night stay) (via Hikkim)
    3 October: Langza to Rangrik (night stay)
    4 October: Rangrik to Mud (night stay)
    5 October: Mud (night stay)
    6 October: Mud to Tabo (night stay)
    7 October: Tabo to Kalpa (night stay)
    8 October: Kalpa to Narkanda (night stay)
    9 October: Narkanda to Chandigarh (night stay)
    (via Shimla)
    10 October: Chandigarh to CCU

    Do it the other way around. Will save you the hassle of Rohtang Permit and will be better in terms of acclimatization.

    Thank you for your reply. Actually we have almost done all the bookings according to this itinerary. Though I am not doing those bookings or etc. My husband and his friends are. But recently when I am going through your blogs , I feel to enquire. Will it be really tough? 1 night at Manali and 2 night at Sishu will not be enough to acclimatise?

    That would be good enough but Rohtang pass permits an issue. So as varghis said do it the other way if you have a choice

    To answer your other question though, if you managed to get Rohtang Permit and have already done the bookings then yes, you can start from Manali side as well.

    Thank you sir. My only concern is my child and the proper acclimatization. If this itinerary will go well, the permit will not be an issue.
