    Dear Vargis,

We (my wife & me) are planning to visit Spiti vallye (complete circle) this year. I am trying to prepare a draft itinerary (obviously taking reference from your suggested ones) & would definitely need your guidance/inputs on that; but before that like to get your suggestions regarding the time of the trip. Would this be better if we plan this in end-June/first-week of July or should this be better in August or September? Since we would cover Kinnar-part, so I am wondering if July/August/September would rain be starting in Kinnar (if not Spiti)? I would take a leave from office & anyway have to give a prior notice for that; so from my office point of view, June/July/August/September does not matter & hence I would like to focus whenever the nature would be more scenic & with clear weather.

    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Saptarshi

Let me rephrase my question; seems it wasn't precise!!

If I want to visit Spiti vallye (complete circle), what would be best time to travel these regions? Since Kinnar-part is also there, would there be any chance of rain if it is in August or September? Or should I travel in late June/July first week would be better for more scenic & with clear weather?

    Regards,
    Saptarshi

The rains generally subside during the 2nd half of August. If you want clear weather with minimum water crossings then early September is the best.

Your itinerary looks OK Saptarshi Bhai. I am assuming that you are renting a private cab for the trip?
