    RIDE TO K.I.S.S.

Sajal Sir it was when I had just bought my Thar, brand new and Chanshal Pass was the first trip I did in it (except for a couple of weekend drives to Dhanaulti and Lansdowne). I was still getting to know the car and trust me, it is tons different than any other car that I had driven or owned so...

    RIDE TO K.I.S.S.

This brings back so many memories and a terrible one as well. I almost died at Chanshal Pass top because of my stupidity. Was only saved because of quick thinking and a little bit of luck. :) Otherwise would have gone tumbling down the hill in my Thar.

    RIDE TO K.I.S.S.

Point noted Sajal Bhai, will surely visit here the next time I am in Kalpa. And no, I did not even have a torch. I walked back using only the cellphone light ... LOL .. For a moment I thought to spend the night in Roghi but then I am not sure what came over and I just decided to walk back ...

    RIDE TO K.I.S.S.

Stunning pictures Sajal Sir, especially of the temples. It reminded me of an incident. I have been to Kalpa 3 times so far but never thought of visiting any places nearby. I usually just go there, stay for a night, and move on the next day. During the last trip, I decided to spend a day in...

    RIDE TO K.I.S.S.

The locals will have to take the initiative in that aspect I believe. Nako Lake looks pretty only in the pictures. Otherwise, it is just a small pond of dirty water. The villagers are least bother about maintaining it.

    RIDE TO K.I.S.S.

Sajal Bhai last I heard, I believe they received some government funding to redo the entire thing and promote the village as a tourist attraction.

    RIDE TO K.I.S.S.

Stunning pictures Sajal Sir. Giu monastery looks so changed since the last time I went there. Looks like they changed the entire structure of the temple.

    RIDE TO K.I.S.S.

The dhaba is so empty, rare to find it like this. Otherwise, in tourist season, it is usually full with people, hard to find a place to sit inside. I was stuck here once for 3 days in 2018 after the road got blocked due to an unexpected snowfall.

    RIDE TO K.I.S.S.

Newbie riders Sajal Bhai. They go on 2 rides and think of themselves as the greatest biker to have ever lived. This Roadographer is a shining example of the same.
