Hello Sir
We are 5 Persons planning to visit Srinagar - Leh - Manali on 3rd Sep-2022.
Below is my itinerary.
Arrive at Srinagar by flight from Ahmedabad (day 1) --- Please suggest where to stay, where to eat & what to see (We are all vegetarian)
Local Sightseeing in Srinagar. Overnight stay at Srinagar
Srinagar/Pahalgam/Gulmarg (day 2) --- Please suggest where to stay, where to eat & what to see
Local sightseeing in Pahalgam, Gulmarg. Overnight stay in Gulmarg
Srinagar /Sonmarg / Zoji La Pass /Drass/ Kargil (day 3) --- Please suggest where to stay, where to eat & what to see
Wake up on time to reach Kargil for this drive entails 8 hours worth of time. Enjoy the gorgeous vistas on the way. You can stop for lunch at Drass and then commence the journey. Do a night halt in Kargil.
Kargil/Lamayuru/Leh (day 4)
This 10-hour drive will leave you stunned with all the beauty around you. On your way to Leh you can cover amazing attractions like Mulbekh Maitrey, Lamayuru Monastery, Gurudwara Pather Sahib and Magnetic Hill. Dock at Leh for the night.

Shanti Stupa, monument, attractions in Leh
Shanti Stupa in Leh
Take this day to enjoy at your own pace. Check out the different attractions of Leh like the Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Thikse Monastery, Spituk Monastery etc. Stay overnight in Leh.
Leh/Khardung La/Diskit/Hunder (day 6)
During this five to six hours long drive, you can explore the gorgeous Nubra Valley going through Khardung La, the highest motorable road in the world. Upon reaching Diskit, you can explore monasteries along with the tallest statue of Lord Buddha, while white sand dunes and camel safari await you in Hunder. Choose to do a night halt at Diskit/Hunder.
Hunder/Diskit/Samur/Panamik/Sumur/Khardung La/Leh (day 7)
From Diskit/Hunder, you can choose to do an excursion to Panamik and Samur. Panamik is home to hot springs and Samur has some beautiful monasteries. The drive can take you seven to nine hours, come back to Leh for an overnight stay.
Leh/Hemis Monastery/Pangong Tso (day 8)
From Leh, you can do an excursion to Hemis that falls on the way to the stunning Pangong Tso Lake. This drive can take upto six hours, but the views will be worth it. Do an overnight stay at Pangong Tso, near Lukung and Spangmik.
Pangong Tso Lake/Thicksey Monastery/Shey Palace/Leh (day 9)
On your way back from Pangong Tso, you cam cover Thicksey and Shey Monastery on the way. After a six-hour drive back, do an overnight stay in Leh.
Spend a day at Leh (day 10)
Take a break and explore the areas around Leh. Visit the Sham Valley that is home to Likir, Alichi, confluence at Nummu or the Basgo Place. Else, explore in the vicinity to take in the local cultures and buy souvenirs for loved ones.
Leh/Tso Moriri through Chumathang (day 11)
A seven to eight-hour long drive will take you to Tso Moriri where you can see the Karzok Monastery. Do an overnight stay in Tso Moriri.
Tso Moriri/Tso Kar/Debring (Manali/Leh Highway)/Moore Plains/Pang/Sarchu (day 12)
This drive will be 12 hours long, so make sure you start early. Drive on the Manali/Leh Highway all the way to the Moore Plains that will enthrall you. Upon reaching Sarchu, check in to your accommodation and spend an overnight there.
Sarchu/Baralacha La/Keylong/Rohtang Pass/Manali (day 13)
On your way from Sarchu, you can cover, Deepak and Suraj Tal. Be sure to leave early since this drive will take you at least 11 to 12 hours, depending upon the breaks and the conditions at Rohtang Pass. Reach Manali and stay there overnight.
Manali – Delhi (day 14)
My question is : (1) Request you to please check it and if anything is to be add / remove then please advise.
(2) I want to short my itinerary from 14 Days to 12 Days. Please advise which place should be skip or merge (I don't want to deduct my Srinagar Days)
(3) Please suggest my Srinagar Itinerary for 3 Days.
(4) If we are 7 persons then is there any other option instead of rent 2 cars ? Please suggest
